Phantom Mesh is a line of woven wire fabrics custom woven for aviary containment and protection by Cascade Coil Drapery in Portland, Oregon. Cascade is a manufacturer of wire fabrics consisting of interlinking round weave coils of wire. Cascades' fabrics are used for window treatments, dividers, security closures, lighting and acoustical effects, safety screening and spark protection (firescreen mesh). Cascade also carries a line of special aluminum extrusions, track and hardware to support the many product applications.

Cascade Coil fabrics can be custom woven from bright basic steel, galvanized steel, nickel or tin plated steel, stainless steel, nylon coated steel, aluminum, solid brass and copper or bronze. A wide variety of finishes are available to suit project budgets.

Phantom Mesh is a relatively new product. It is currently available in four standard weaves. Other combinations of weave diameter, pitch and wire diameter can be made available with new tooling.

STANDARD QUALITY PHANTOM MESH is manufactured from black nylon coated wire. The nylon is bonded over a galvanized steel core wire for double protection. The nylon thickness is approximately 0.002 inches.

PREMIUM QUALITY PHANTOM MESH is manufactured from stainless steel wire which has a black oxide etching.

DESIGN ADVANTAGES & INSTALLATION SAVINGS!
Phantom Mesh offers advantages to the designer and cost savings to the installer. It can be custom woven to lengths exceeding 40 feet or more. (Shipping or installation considerations are really the only factors limiting Phantom Mesh length.) Most importantly, Phantom Mesh can be spliced to infinite width by joining sections in the field with a single spiral of the material using a simple corkscrew weaving action (an invisible splice). This product feature can be a great advantage if repair, replacement or if extension of a section is necessary.

OVERCOMES EXHIBIT VISUAL BARRIERS!
Now, the visual barrier to an exhibit can be overcome! Phantom Mesh tends to be invisible when viewed from 10 to 25 feet away offering a seamless final touch that will enhance the overall project. Landscaping is brought out in full detail - its not hard to look through Phantom Mesh.

PROTECTION FROM OUTSIDE WILDLIFE - NO ADDITIONAL SCREENING REQUIRED!
Protection from outside wildlife and predators such as rodents is gained with the use of woven wire Phantom Mesh. Phantom Mesh offers this protection for the entire barrier including all sides from top to bottom and the top as well! The strength and relatively light weight of Phantom Mesh certainly has its advantages.
